Events

Lititz Chooses Love hosts a variety of events throughout the year, and we’re adding more all the time! All of our events are free to attend and also free from transphobia, homophobia, sexism, ableism, xenophobia, fatphobia, ageism, hatefulness and discrimination of any kind. Whether it's through social gatherings, supportive spaces, or awareness campaigns, our goal is to create a platform for people to come together and celebrate their identities.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

Each year on November 20th, we join with our community members to honor and recognize the lives lost to anti-trans violence. The event location can vary from year to year, but the main purpose is to gather for a vigil where we read the names of the lives lost as a form of remembrance. It’s also an opportunity to promote awareness of the threat of violence and prejudice that continue to be felt by the transgender community.

Outdoor Activities

In the warmer months, we love to get outside and spend quality time together! From backyard games to accessible queer hikes to campfires, we love to show up and show our support for the LGBTQ+ members of our community.
